Job Summary: This position is responsible for a variety of patient support activities, including the following: ensuring that all patient demographics and charges are captured in a timely and appropriate manner. Identifies, analyzes and reconciles billing and data file errors or omissions. Reviews patient account records and third party payer issues. This position is responsible for addressing more complex patient inquiries, questions, and concerns in all areas including enrollment, claims, benefit interpretation, and referrals/authorizations. Responsible for receiving, responding to, and directing patient phone calls. Reviews medical records for accuracy and completeness. Works under supervision of AR manager. Requires some knowledge of billing and healthcare field.
