Welcome Dr. Menon

We are excited to introduce the newest member of our physician team, Dr. Blaine Menon, MD, MPH, who joins TRA Medical Imaging as an Interventional Radiologist.

About Dr. Menon

Dr. Menon completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he also trained in diagnostic radiology. He earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees at the University of Miami, and completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of New Mexico.

During his medical training, Dr. Menon was inspired by mentors who combined deep medical knowledge with compassion and curiosity. He carries those same values into his own practice, focusing on using imaging to not only diagnose but also guide minimally invasive procedures that can change patients’ lives.

Why He Chose Radiology—and TRA

When asked what he loves most about radiology, Dr. Menon explains:

“There is so much understanding that can come from even a single image. From that knowledge comes the ability to do all sorts of incredible things for patients. One of my favorite things about being both a diagnostic and interventional radiologist is that I get to help translate those images into action in real time. There’s no place in the hospital I’d rather be.”

Dr. Menon grew up in the South Puget Sound and chose TRA because of the opportunity to care for patients from diverse backgrounds while serving the community that shaped him.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of medicine, Dr. Menon enjoys making the most of the Pacific Northwest. Whether hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, or snowboarding, he feels at home in the outdoors. When indoors, he can often be found cooking new recipes, dancing bachata with his wife, or relaxing with their dog and a good book.

Looking Ahead

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Menon to TRA Medical Imaging. His dedication to patient care, commitment to innovation, and deep ties to the region make him a wonderful addition to our team. We know our patients will benefit from his expertise and compassionate approach.
