The Business Analyst position is responsible for producing and delivering reports for the Patient Access Department, including Prior Authorization, Medical Records, Scheduling, Registration and Physician Admin Support. The Business Analyst will also act as a liaison between IT and users to support overall business strategies utilizing both business and technical expertise. The Analyst will produce daily, weekly and monthly reports capturing key metrics that impact patient service and satisfaction while uncovering ways to improve performance. Assist in the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives for the department. Incumbent will be responsible for updating and uploading schedule templates for all locations while reviewing for potential efficiencies and consistency. The position will be involved with monitoring staffing level needs based on volume. Will document system requirements, define scope and objectives and assist in the creation of system specification that drive system development and implementation. Researches best practices and supports developing the solutions and recommendations for the current business operations.
